- Got the program running over Peter Tattam's WINSOCK Beta 5, within
- only 2 minutes after extraction (using your LDAP server ldapserv.umu.se).
-

- Subject: QVTNET296 Telnet and the Numlock key
-
- I'm using the 'standard' IBM-PC keyboard (not the enhanced 101 key
- version), the one with the function keys on the left and the Number
- pad on the right combined with the 'arrow' keys.
-
- QVTNET296 (Telnet) takes over the NumLock key and will NOT let me
- use it to toggle between the numberpad and the 'arrows' mode.
- This makes this rather fine program almost useless in telnet mode.
-
- Does anyone know how I can set it up to leave the numlock key
- strictly alone, or tell it that I have the 'standard' IBM keyboard
- and NOT the enhanced version.
-
- Regards
-

- I've got quite attached to my Supra FAXmodem V.42bis, which is small +
- compact + has a neat two-character LED status display showing you the
- current baud rate, any extra protocols (data compression, etc.) It cost
- #290, but I believe the price has since gone down.
-
- The cheapest decent 14400/fax modem I've heard of is the Zoom @ #199
- which works fine, but looks a bit clunky.
